NDT Services have also inspected low temperature atmospheric storage tanks for Liquid Ammonia. Capacity of storage tank inspected &

tested are from 5000MT to 15000MT, Both single wall single integrity & double wall double integrity tanks. The inspection covers wet

fluorescent magnetic particle examination of all welds, liquid penetrant inspection of external & internal welds, verticality measurements,

tank bottom welds inspection using wet fluorescent magnetic particle testing and vacuum box, thickness measurement of plates and

nozzle, hardness survey of weld joints, metallographic examination (covering roof, shell, bottom and nozzle connection), radiographic

examination (covering tee joints and lonitudinal seams) and visual inspection including measurement of pit depth of corrosion pits.
